Modern Day Acoustic Amp, for the Modern Acoustic Player

Featuring an impressive 50 watts of sound, the Ashdown AA-50-R Combo brings to mind the sound and look of a certain early 90's accoustic amp brand, but is fully kitted out to take on modern-day acoustic performance needs.

Solid Construction

The high-quality plywood cabinet is constructed to be lightweight, without compromising on the amp's tonal quality, and is finished in a black Tolex vinyl for that classic acoustic amp look. Housed within the cabinet are 2 UK-made 5-inch Celestion Speakers, specially voice to provide you with some of the most articulate and clear acoustic amplification available.

Bluetooth Connectivity

As a modern option, the AA-50-R also offers you the chance to connect external devices (such as your phone/MP3 player), letting you play along to your favourite tracks, or even make use of backing tracks during live performances. And if you don't have a Bluetooth device, worry not: there's also a Line In socket that will allow you to achieve the same end.

Great for Solo Performers

In addition to the standard Instrument Input socket, the AA-50-R also features an XLR socket, dedicated to microphones with its own independent channel controls and Phantom Power switch. This two channel design makes the AA-50-R ideal for singer songwriters and solo performers looking to gig in smaller venues.

Exquisite Reverb and EQ Controls

Another modern feature on the AA-50-R allows you to assign the amp's reverb control to one or two channels simultaneously, but with the same wet-signal control, and 16 pre-set reverb types to choose from. There's also a Master 5-band Graphic EQ section on the front panel, with adjustable notch filter, which allows you to fine tune your tone based on personal preferance and room size.

Professional-Grade Outputs

As well as the afore-mentioned Line Input and Bluetooth connectivity, the AA-50-R features an effects loop, and 1/4" Line Input and Output feeds, so you can even use it during studio recording sessions or use the XLR DI-out sockets to hook up to a Front of House system when playing larger venues.
