The problem with using handrail brackets with cover plates is that they don't stay in place so you will need to secure with an adhesive. This can be a time consuming and messy process that then makes it difficult to remove later.

These new handrail brackets come with a unique backplate that secures the cover plate in place without the need for any adhesive.

Simply push the cover plate over the back plate and turn slightly. This will give it a secure fit and can only be removed by twisting the cover plate again. If you try to pull the cover plate straight towards you, it will not budge making it a semi permanent fitting without any mess.
